Hazelmont Cottage B & B is a romantic couple’s retreat nestled in the lush green hills of Ravensbourne in the High Country Hamlets Region, less than 80 mins from Brisbane and 40 minutes north from Toowoomba. Its 10 minutes from the friendly town of Crows Nest and a short drive to most of the pleasures the High Country Hamlets and Toowoomba Region . One of the hidden treasures north of Toowoomba, Hazelmont sits on the top of the Great Dividing Range surrounded by rolling green rainforest hills with beautiful Ravensbourne National Park just a few minutes’ drive, Crows Nest National Park is just 15 mins drive both offering much peace and tranquillity.
Our 12 acre heavily forested property starts at the top of the range and stretches up towards the rainforest, it’s the perfect setting to just chill, relax and forget about the busyness of daily life. We have created a walking trails map for the casual and keen walkers alike to explore and enjoy breathtaking walks Ravensbourne area as well as mountain biking trails aplenty. It’s also a great base to explore the local area, browse the shops and markets of Cabarlah, Highfields and Toowoomba, visit local wineries, Pechey Distillery and top-class local restaurants….do nothing or everything!
Hazelmont cottage is beautifully furnished and romance abounds everywhere including a fully restored double brass bed, fireplace, rain shower ensuite, rainforest deck, a self-contained kitchen with electric skillet, microwave and everything you need to whip up simple relaxed meals. A continental breakfast basket is provided with muesli, pancake mix, milk, fresh fruit, plunger coffee and a selection of quality teas.

Relax on the hill Adirondack chairs enjoy the views and birds or just read a book or just. You will be spoilt with the choice of watching the sun set across the valley from Gus Buetel or Shearers Road and watching the amazing night sky and the moon rise from the cottage.
